"Uncovering Hidden Gems: My Experience with Secret Escapes"
I booked a tour to the Azores, a archipelago of nine volcanic islands in the Atlantic Ocean. I had never heard much about the Azores, but the description on Secret Escapes' website piqued my interest. The tour promised to take me on a journey through the islands' stunning landscapes, including hot springs, waterfalls, and crater lakes.
The experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Our group of 12 travelers was led by a knowledgeable and passionate guide who shared insights into the islands' history, culture, and natural environment. We hiked to the rim of a volcano, soaked in natural hot springs, and enjoyed traditional Azorean cuisine and wine.
