Since I can't see the video, could you describe what the paper project is? Knowing the shape or function will help me give you the right steps. Common Paper "Put Together" Projects

Use a "mountain fold" (fold down) or "valley fold" (fold up) as indicated by dashed lines.

Slide the tabs of one unit into the pockets of the next—no glue is usually needed.

Apply a small amount of glue to the tabs and hold for 30 seconds. Start with a perfectly square piece of paper. Crease sharply with your fingernail for better precision. Follow "inside reverse folds" for complex corners. Modular Paper Units: Fold several identical "units" first.
