The story follows Ivan Naydenov, who has settled into a comfortable life in the magical land of Belogorie after defeating evil in the first film. He enjoys modern luxuries like microwaves and vacuum cleaners by using his Magic Sword to travel between Belogorie and modern-day Moscow for supplies.

The peace is shattered when an ancient evil known as Rogoleb awakens, threatening the existence of the magical world. To defeat this threat, Ivan must team up with his father Ilya Muromets, his bride Vasilisa, and unlikely allies like Baba Yaga, Wodyanoy, and the fierce bread-roll warrior Kolobok.
