Following the departure of Jack O'Neill, Lt. Col. Cameron Mitchell is tasked with reuniting the original SG-1 team. This season explores the theme of legacy as Mitchell tries to live up to his predecessors.
Played by Claudia Black, Vala brings a comedic, rogue element to the team. Her accidental link to Daniel Jackson drives much of the early season's plot.
