Heartbroken and feeling betrayed, Raja vows to get revenge by marrying a girl from Roopi’s own village so she is forced to see him every day.
Raja tries to send a matchmaker to Roopi's house to finalize their alliance, but a confusion leads Roopi to inadvertently agree to marry someone else—who turns out to be Raja's cousin.
The title is inspired by a popular Punjabi folk song.
