The doors hissed open. Sarah stepped into the server room, gun raised, her face streaked with soot and triumph. She stopped dead when she saw the man in the chair.

Elias spun the chair around slowly. He looked at the girl he had mentored, the girl he had 'saved' in the season premiere. He looked at the gun pointed at his chest and didn't blink.

"You thought this was a revolution," Elias said, stepping into the light. "But I just needed someone to clear out the old board members for me. Thank you for doing the heavy lifting." Sarah’s hand trembled. "You... you're the villain." [S2E8] This is Where the Plot Thickens

The hum of the server farm was the only heartbeat left in the city. Inside Hub 42, Elias watched the scrolling green lines of the "Aegis" protocol.
