In the epic finale of "The Savage Time," the Justice League faces a desperate race against time to stop Vandal Savage from rewriting history using future technology. Here is the story of how the tide turned in World War II:

As the fortress crumbles, the League manages to destroy the time-travel device Savage used to bridge the eras. The destruction of the machine triggers a temporal correction. The League members are pulled back into the "current" timeline, watching as the Nazi-occupied alternate reality dissolves around them.

Trapped in the 1940s, the League realizes Savage is preparing to launch a fleet of high-tech "Valhalla" jet wings to decimate the Allied forces.
