Post — Mortem(2020)

After a near-death experience on a WWI battlefield, Tomás becomes a "post-mortem photographer," posing deceased family members for final memorial portraits. He is lured to a remote Hungarian village by a young orphan girl, Anna, who resembles a figure from his near-death vision. Upon arrival, he discovers the village is literally haunted; because the ground is too frozen to bury the plague victims, the dead remain in the village, attracting malevolent spirits. Tomás and Anna must use his photography equipment and early sound recording tools to communicate with the entities and uncover the source of the village's curse.
