Pete's Dragon (2016) -

For six years, the pair lives an idyllic, feral life in a hollowed-out tree. Their peace is interrupted when a lumber crew, led by the ambitious (Karl Urban) and his brother Jack (Wes Bentley), begins cutting too deep into the forest. Pete is spotted by Jack’s daughter, Natalie (Oona Laurence), and is eventually taken into town by forest ranger Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard).
