The Billy o' Tea crew, weary and starving after a long, difficult hunt for a right whale, finds renewed strength and hope through singing "Wellerman," a song about a supply ship bringing sugar, tea, and rum. Led by young tongue-man Nathan, their spirited chorus unites them, ultimately leading to their triumph over the whale and the joyous arrival of the anticipated supply ship.
