Suddenly, the red glow of a lightsaber illuminated the corridor. Kylo Ren stepped from the shadows, his cape a jagged piece of stiff fabric and his helmet looking slightly too large for his head. He held his crossguard saber aloft, the translucent red plastic shimmering.
With a quick snap , Rey hooked the ceiling and swung over Kylo's head, grabbing BB-8 in one hand. They crashed through a breakaway wall of "glass" pieces and slid down the sandy dunes of Jakku.
"Bee-bee-boop?" chimed BB-8, his spherical body rattling as he bumped over a loose stud in the floorboards.
"Chewie, get the engines started!" shouted an older Han Solo, his hair a distinguished piece of textured grey plastic. "We’ve got a galaxy to save, and I think I left the hyperdrive lever in the other set!"
Rey didn't flinch. She reached into her inventory and pulled out a small, grey grappling hook. "You’ll have to catch us first!"
As the Falcon roared to life, leaving a trail of dust (and a few stray studs) behind, Rey looked back at the shrinking desert. The Force was awakening, and it felt remarkably like the clicking of two pieces finally snapping together.
