Monty can use a melee kick attack or collect weapons like a shotgun or a bubble gun that floats enemies away. Kicked enemies transform into boxes that can be picked up and thrown at other foes.
Unlike the purely platform-and-ladder gameplay of its predecessors like Wanted: Monty Mole and Monty on the Run , Impossamole is a horizontal scrolling .
