The story begins with Mietek losing his sight as a young child due to untreated glaucoma. Sent to a center for the blind in Laski, he discovers music as a way to "see" and interact with the world. Despite his professional success, Kosz struggled with deep isolation and personal demons, leading to his tragic death at the age of 29 .
