It began in 2011 as a Sonic the Hedgehog fan game created by Sabrina DiDuro (GalaxyTrail). Early versions featured a physics engine nearly identical to Sonic’s, complete with rings and a Dr. Eggman-like antagonist.
Realizing the project’s commercial potential, DiDuro chose to overhaul it into an original IP to avoid legal issues and creative limitations.
