He opened the video. It was a fixed-angle shot of a room he didn't recognize—a sterile, white office with a single desk. A woman was sitting there, typing furiously. She looked exhausted, her hair matted, her eyes bloodshot. Every few seconds, she would glance at the camera with a look of pure, unadulterated terror.
