The landscape was standard—blocks of green and brown—but the settlers were different. Usually, the NPCs in Colony Survival are mindless workers who follow a strict routine. These NPCs didn't move. They stood in a circle around the spawn point, staring at the camera.

On the screen, the sun began to set. In the game, night brings "Zombies"—monsters that attack the colony. But as the moon rose, no monsters appeared. Instead, the colonists began to dismantle the world. They weren't mining for resources; they were deleting the blocks. One by one, the green grass and stone mountains turned into a void of pure, flickering white code.

Leo tried to assign a job. He clicked a colonist to make them a farmer. A text box appeared at the bottom of the screen: “We are tired of the cycles, Leo.”

The official version history jumped from 0.8.0 to 0.8.1. There was no mention of a "point-one" hotfix.
