The plot follows (Pacino), a world-renowned forensic psychiatrist and professor whose expert testimony famously put serial killer Jon Forster (Neal McDonough) on death row. On the morning of Forster’s scheduled execution, Gramm receives a chilling phone call from an electronically altered voice informing him he has exactly 88 minutes to live .

Though production wrapped in Vancouver in late 2005, the film was shelved for several years. It saw international releases in 2007 before finally hitting U.S. theaters in April 2008 via TriStar Pictures. 88 Minutes (2007)
